You are very fast shopping, something needs a little time. So I found 3B4 here in stocks also.
Let us know what is the problem of the 2B67, this units are build to become repaired when there is a problem.
Time base units have to be adjusted with a time mark generator to be just in time, and for a top trigger function.
Hi Martin,
The unit was in excellent condition and nothing was missing. The price was fair and shipping was not very much. It was even shipped in original Tek carton, plus including the manual. Further more, it was shipped from Germany, so no import taxes to Greece. So there was no reason waiting for more. I post some pictures of the shipped unit here, just for your interest.
However, I am still looking for other plugins for the 564. I think I will make another post in the forum for these, so as not to mess up things.
Thanks for all the help and time looking.
By the way, there is nothing wrong with the 2B67, it is perfectly working. But it cannot trigger to more than 2-3MHz and it is too pity because the vertical amplifier is rated to 10MHz. The 3B4 can trigger to 20MHz. Only the 2B67 and the 3B4 plugins have a feature that I require, and this is the ramp input signal, not just trigger input.
I am using this ramp input in combination with a sweeper and a detector, to sweep filters and at the same time be able to measure the amplitudes and frequencies at specific points onto the response curve of the filter. If your timebase does not have a ramp input but only a trigger input, then you cannot do this, because you cannot stop the sweep at a specific point onto the filter curve.
By the way, you need a storage scope, like the 564 in order to do it that way.
